Wolf Creek Contracting is a General Contractor centrally located to service the Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and surrounding markets.
Our diversified crews allow us to have a wide range of projects such as new construction, renovations, concrete, design/build, pre-engineered metal buildings, and structural steel buildings.
Typical projects are structured with one primary project manager and working supervisor or foreman on the job from start to finish.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
We are looking for an experienced, talented individual to join our construction company as a Concrete Foreman.
As part of our team, you lead crews in the completion of various major concrete projects, always ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.
You coordinate tasks for your crews according to current project needs, produce schedules for crew members, and supervise the use of machinery.
In some cases, you may need to train crew members on safe equipment use.
Our ideal candidate has considerable professional experience in construction, particularly with concrete projects.
You must also possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
ROUTINE DUTIES:
· Coordinate tasks and schedules for crew members
· Supervise workers throughout the shift, ensuring safety, appropriate work stoppages, and organization
· Resolve problems with projects, materials, and workers as they arise
Concrete Foreman Requirements and Qualifications
· Five years of construction experience, including experience in a leadership or supervisory position
· Detailed knowledge of concrete construction procedures and OSHA guidelines
· Experience with blueprint reading, concrete finishing, and managing crews
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
