Senior Bridge Project Manager/Office Manager

AI Engineers is seeking an exceptional and versatile professional to fill the role of Senior Bridge Project Manager/Office Manager in our West Virginia office.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced individual with a background in both bridge project management and business development to make a significant impact on operations.
*Key Responsibilities:* * *Client Relationship Management*: * Establish, enhance, and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, within the WVDOH Central and District offices.
* Target new clients in the WV and OH regions and foster strong connections.
* *Marketing and Business Development*: * Follow up on marketing leads and facilitate communication between new/potential clients and in-house technical staff.
* Coordinate periodic marketing activities, including presentations, meetings, and attendance at marketing events, trade shows, and industry gatherings.
* *Information Sharing and Collaboration:* * Proactively share important information about clients, prime and subconsultants, teaming strategies, and proposals with the AIE Business Development team.
* Be actively involved in ongoing discussions to help maintain and grow the business.
* *Project Management and Engineering:* * Lead the delivery of bridge inspection, load rating and design projects.
* Provide technical guidance to bridge designers, junior engineers, and technicians.
* Identify new project opportunities and lead the development of technical proposals.
* Manage requests for qualifications/proposals.
* Be involved in forming teams by reaching out to other prime consultants, subconsultants, and Government/Private Agencies.
*Qualifications:* • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong oral presentation, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
• PE License, WV preferred.
• Bridge Safety Inspection certification is preferred.
• Progressive experience in bridge project management, design, inspection, and related specifications for WVDOT and/or similar local projects.
• Knowledge/experience with MicroStation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
*Skills and Abilities:* • A self-starter with the ability to form project teams and manage multiple concurrent projects/assignments.
• Strong technical and project management skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Solid background in every facet of bridge projects, from condition inspection to concept development, preliminary and final design phases, and construction support services.
• Proficiency in structural analysis, modeling, and development of final drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
